Dear Reader,
We hope you have been well and are staying safe during these times. We wanted to share some research we have found regarding Omega 3’s and DNA preservation. A group of Brazilian researchers conducted a study in the Journal of Food & Function on the topic of Omega 3’s and DNA damage. They “found that higher levels of EPA and DHA were associated with lower levels of DNA damage” (Schultz, 2020). This link is a proactive connection between Omega 3’s found in fish oil and DNA protection. In addition this factor helps reduce the development of future diseases (Barros, et. al. 2020).
ALP Life Sciences is dedicated to providing you with current research on the topic of Omega 3’s and their impact on your health. We want to encourage you to keep up your supplementation with ALP High-3 to reduce your risk of chronic inflammatory diseases including damage to your DNA.
Sincerely,
Robert A. Barker, MD
